Ranil Jayawardena met the British Heart Foundation this week to find out how he can support people at risk of or living with cardiovascular disease (CVD). The BHF also discussed their aims for this parliament, which will focus on helping people make healthier choices, equipping people with the skills to help save lives and better supporting cardiovascular patients. All essential to helping people live longer, healthier lives.
Ranil said:
‘Cardiovascular disease is a real problem, and I was pleased to talk to the BHF to find out how I can help sufferers in North East Hampshire. I’m going to be visiting a BHF shop in the constituency next week to help raise awareness and thank the volunteers at the shop who give up their time to help.'
