Ranil Jayawardena has this week met with the Cancer Campaigning Group, a coalition of 60 national cancer charities, to discuss how to use cancer data to help improve results and services for patients and their families.
This meeting came as the Cancer Campaigning Group launched their cancer data resource, Cancer Data: Empowering you to act, which supports Members of Parliament to find the cancer data that tells them about their area. The coalition and Ranil Jayawardena MP also discussed a number of ways to take action in Parliament and in North East Hampshire.
Ranil said: ‘I was delighted to meet with the Cancer Campaigning Group and to hear about how I can work with local organisations and charities to support patients. I will continue to work hard to improve local services in North East Hampshire in partnership with the many hard-working charities that I met with this week. It is vital that patients receive the high-quality services, care and support that they deserve.’
