I was delighted to present Gary and Michelle, founders of the charity DogsnHomes Rescue, with their Points of Light awards, on behalf of the Prime Minister.
DogsnHomes Rescue started as a small charity with a big dream – to rescue dogs from Portugal and Britain, finding them loving forever homes. Today, they’ve successfully found homes for over 500 furry friends!
In the face of the Ukraine crisis, Gary and Michelle stepped up, delivering over 150,000kg of pet food, aid, and medical supplies for cats and dogs. They’ve covered thousands of miles, helped refugees and their pets, and worked tirelessly with trusted charity partners in Ukraine to ensure that aid reaches those who need it most.
