This week is English Wine Week and I’m looking back to my visit to Penn Croft Vineyard, based in Crondall – a local business with a mission to create planet friendly wine.
Their production methods are rooted in sustainability – with the use of solar panels, thermo-controlled tanks, innovative farming, and they even recycle their waste water naturally through the surrounding wetlands.
Economic growth and looking after our planet can go hand-in-hand. Penn Croft show that it’s possible to be sustainable while producing a fantastic British product as a business that helps boost our local economy.
