This morning Ranil met local farmers from North East Hampshire and Basingstoke to hear their views on how best to look after our countryside, cut bureaucracy and protect against rural crime.
NFU, who represent farmers and growers across England and Wales, organised the meeting.
Ranil said: "I enjoyed meeting local farmers from both the North East Hampshire and Basingstoke constituencies to discuss important farming issues. Clearly, rural challenges cut across boundaries and I was pleased to have the MP for Basingstoke, Maria Miller, to join me at the meeting."
