With the heavy rain we’ve had recently, some local people have faced challenges related to sewage and flooding.
I am always concerned to hear of the difficulties any residents experience, and you can be sure that I take these matters seriously.
For instance, in Sherfield on Loddon, Councillor Nick Robinson and I have been in direct contact with Thames Water to address the situation and provide the necessary support to local people. To do that, we've been working closely with affected households to gather information and understand the full scope of the issue, with our goal being that the right measures are put in place to prevent such problems from occurring in the future.
Your voice matters to me, and I stand ready to continue working together, resolving these matters as promptly and effectively as possible. Whilst some political parties might be content to jump on an issue to play political games, I am committed to finding real solutions that ensure the well-being and peace of mind of local people for the long-term.
