Member of Parliament for North East Hampshire, Ranil Jayawardena MP, is pleased to welcome North East Hampshire and Farnham CCG’s selection as one of only seven new NHS tech testbeds to provide faster access to new technology for patients and help improve patient outcomes.
North East Hampshire and Farnham CCG will be using digital solutions embedded within existing diabetes pathways in primary care to provide structured, ongoing self-management support for lifestyle change.
£7 million in funding has been announced across England for the ‘Test Bed’ joint programme between NHS England and HM Government.
Ranil Jayawardena MP said:
“This announcement, alongside the extra funding for the NHS announced in the Budget, shows HM Government’s commitment to our excellent NHS and I am delighted to see another win for North East Hampshire in particular.”
He continued:
“People up and down our country are rightly proud of our NHS and, thanks to this new funding, our local NHS service forges ahead at the front—innovating, inspiring and improving outcomes through new technology—and providing the access to the highest quality public services that everyone deserves.”
