It was great to join Fleet Social and Bowling Club in their centenary celebrations, who were joined by players from Bowls England for a celebratory match in the sunshine.
I was delighted to meet the people who give up their time into making this club so successful, and to find out more about its history – it has come a long way since it was founded in 1923!
This club, tucked away in the centre of Fleet, now has one of the best facilities in Hampshire and provides bowling for all abilities for people from Fleet, Yateley and surrounding areas. With membership 300 strong, they always warmly welcome new people who wish to join.
