Those of you who have followed this site for a while will know that I am very concerned to make sure that our servicemen and women have what they need. That's why I have started a petition to improve the standard of accommodation for service personnel at RAF Odiham
This is an issue that I have already taken to the top - the current accomodation is simply not good enough for those serving in our Royal Air Force, so I raised this issue with the previous Prime Minister, David Cameron. I am now calling on Theresa May and the Ministry of Defence to do what they can to improve the standard of living for all those based at RAF Odiham.
If you live on RAF Odiham, you will recieve a letter from me in the coming days - and, if you don't, please e-mail me at: [email protected] - or sign the petition to the left of this page:

To the Honourable the Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Parliament assembled.
The Humble petition of the people of North East Hampshire.
Sheweth that the accommodation provided at RAF Odiham for service personnel is outdated and not fit for purpose. This is particularly true of the Junior Rank Accommodation with 97% of the 674 ranked as “Grade 4”, the worst score, and 95 bed spaces in the Junior Rank Accommodation have been condemned.
Further, the petitioners note that The Rt. Hon. David Cameron, M.P., said in the House of Commons on 9th March 2016 that: “£2 million has been spent of RAF Odiham, but if more is needed we will make sure that happens.”
Wherefore your petitioners pray that your honourable House urges HM Government to take all possible steps to bring forward the delivery of the Engineering and Logistics Hub from 2024, and tasks HM Government to fulfil the ‘Approved Requirement’ for refurbishment of five remaining Junior Rank barrack blocks.
And your petitioners, as in duty bound, will ever pray, &c.
