Alongside the Health Secretary, it was great to look at the new construction designs for the new Basingstoke and Frimley hospitals.
It’s really important that our new hospitals – in Basingstoke and Frimley, together serving all of North East Hampshire – combine their functionality for patients with preferences that fit our local area.
This is all part of our plan to secure state-of-the-art new hospitals across the country. Patients and staff will benefit from modern hospital design equipped with the latest technology, digital innovation, and sustainability to improve overall patient experience and provide a better working environment for staff.
I said I’d fight for a new hospital for North Hampshire. Now we’re getting two!
